Our Great Grandfather and his wife, Sarah Patterson, moved to Wallasey in Cheshire in yhe early 1890s with their only son David; John Patterson was lost at sea off the coast of South America, somewhere around Cape Horn, in 1893, on his way to Valparaiso. David Patterson married Lilly King and had three sons, Ronald (Ron), Derek and John. Ron Patterson married Hilda Rogers and had two sons, Tony and Andrew.
